Abstract:My 16 year old daughter was taking out the trash and called out to me. She told me to look up at the stars. I noticed there were many of them. There were many thick clouds hanging out, over the valley, but over our hill it was clear. They looked like stars but were not. They were in formation and lines of five across and it seemed like endless in length. They were spaced out evenly. I thought we were having a meteor shower. Then I noticed one star would leave its place and fly in a circle around another one and go back to its original place. Stephanie pointed out that some went into triangle formation then back to their spot as well. My two youngest children became frightened and ran back into the house. I called family and friends to have a look outside but the clouds were too thick over their homes and they could not see. We felt very frustrated and embarrassed. I have no idea who to talk to about this. It looked like a parade, we were afraid and have not discussed this again since we have no answers. They were flying from the Mount Rainier area and heading over us. We noticed that as they were finishing two of them stayed behind as guides for the one in the end of the line, a sort of escort. Can anyone explain this please?
