Abstract: The eyewitness, who sent us this UFO report, never mentioned the YouTube movie (above). The journalist wrote that the incident occurred over Whaterhen Lake. Although it may be a spelling used by the locals, the information coming out of there was little to none. Our research of Waterhen Lake, was a lot more fruitful. There is a with of wealth of information coming out of Waterhen, including (the) video that was allegedly taken of an object over Waterhen Lake. We are trying to get a triangulation on the object.
The lights are not that unusual. According to Barb Campbell of the NW Saskatchewan UFO Research Center, reports like these go back to 1891. Follow this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MimYuME1huA to access the movie.
UPDATE: When we tried to contact the filer at the e-mail address they provided (?) it bounced. We think that this may be a bogus address. That makes the entire case questionable.
The eyewitness declared "THERE WAS SO MANY WITNESSES I DON'T THINK PEOPLE WANT TO BELIEVE IT. I STILL DON'T KNOW IF I CAN BUT I SAW WHAT EVERYONE ELSE SAW I DIDN'T START REALIZING WHAT I SAW UNTIL I SAW THIS DOCUMENTARY ON DISCOVERY CHANNEL ON UFOS."

1. The reporter sent us information that could not be substantiated. That information led us to believe that the location was Whaterhen Lake. We researched it and found that this location didn't exist. That's when we found the YouTube video (above). See also case file WaterhenLake-Saskatchewan_060206.htm for a report that we received, which was dated Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 05:21:30. That paper includes testimony that full disclosure by Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) resulted in a media cover-up.
