So I tried to access the player again today. I clicked the player icon.
The YouTube player now reports, 'We’re sorry, this video is no longer
available.' HELLO? The YouTube video was
never 'available.' The analysis of the material remains inaccessible
even today!
JANUARY 30, 2008: The UFO Hunters from the HISTORY CHANNEL were NOT actually
hunting for UFOs, as was claimed. It seems that we cannot take them literally.
The UFO hunters did recover material, however. Some believe that it came from
the UFO off of Maury Island. They had the material analyzed. The alleged slag, which
was recovered during their investigation, revealed it was highly photo reactive. Furthermore, it may
have been the root cause of the crash of the B-25 Bomber that was shipping material recovered from the
boating incident.

I asked Seattle PI reporter Casey McNerthney if he had heard anything more regarding the analysis of that strange piece of material recovered.
(See "Is strange
rock from UFO or just a piece of poppycock...")
He thanked me for my e-mail and said "A University of Washington research engineer analyzed the black fragment and said it's probably a meteor chunk or old lava.
