UFO sighting San Diego 2/27/08 This was filmed from little Italy facing west. This footage is just part of what we saw on and off for about 5 minutes around 730pm. We saw another one again about 10 minutes later. The lights looked like they had a fire-like tail as if it were a meteorite entering the atmosphere. But later on we saw that they were descending too slowly for that and were too big of lights to be flying lanterns. The lights looked like they were just a few miles west of the Coronado base or Point Loma. Pay special attention after second 12, how the lower light leaves a tail of debris that looked a little bit like those palm tree fireworks. What we filmed here was nothing compared to the light show before filming. If anyone else here saw the same thing on this night in San Diego, leave me a comment just to reassure myself that I'm not losing my fucking mind. Oh yeah, I also called the National UFO about an hour later. Who ever was working the phones over there was getting stormed with calls regarding sightings all over California. ...Ps I searched for videos relating to mine and found one. What I saw prior and while filming is exaclty what this guy filmed in Tampa Jan 20th, 2008. Uforc is frequently recommended to eyewitnesses of UFO events because we spend the time necessary to garner the required information to substantiate the claims of the believing public. Why does this remind me of the Phoenix lights incident? If these were flares, then it is an attempt to conceal the events that happened prior to February 27 on or about the first of January 2008.
The informant who gave us this information is the gentleman that filed the initial report with uforc (See initial report below) It is contemptuous to assume that the people of the world are so gullible as to believe the lies and cover-ups suggested by their government!
The official explanation offered by San Diego Union Tribune? According to Debbi Farr Baker "the Leap Frogs, a parachute team consisting of 9 members based at Naval Base Coronado, was practicing some jumping routines over the base." She claimed that the "Leap Frogs" were parachuting from a C-130 airplane, around 5 p.m. and were equipped with "pyrotechnic lights" that burned for 15 to 30 seconds before "flaming out." Apparently they carried "several of the devices" and lit them at "various times" during the practice. Baker added that "Another practice is tentatively scheduled for Friday evening."
Gee isn't it ironic how nobody reported UFOs on that Friday, Hmmm? What's up with that???

"He said he saw five lights that hovered in the sky before going out one at a time as an aircraft seemingly flew right through them. "Others described seeing fireballs breaking off from a main light and falling to the ground. "One witness said three lights would come together and form one and then “swish around in the sky.” "San Diego police said they had calls about the phenomenon Wednesday night and surmised people were seeing lights from the large contingent of night-fishing squid boats that have converged in La Jolla the last four nights. "Neither the Harbor Police nor the Coast Guard reported getting any calls. "Fifteen Navy Seals are on the Leap Frogs, a team that performs regularly at air shows and other events. Abstract: STRANGE LIGHTS OVER SAN DIEGO CALIFORNIA FEBRUARY 27, 2008 A San Diego man noted an unusual aerial display on Wednesday evening. It appeared sometime between 5:30 to 6:00 PM Pacific time. He watched as 5 lights formed a line. He estimated that the strange display was approximately 100 feet in altitude at a distance of 2 miles. The UFO didn't make any sound as he watched it for approximately 60 seconds in the clear, night sky. He said "there were 5 lights in a line formation in a straight line they never moved. [The] first 2 disappeared then a few seconds later the rest disappeared. It was really strange." The man stated that this was his first sighting and that he has not reported it anywhere else.
