ABSTRACT: A 35 year old male by the name of Vaughn witnessed a UFO event over Providence, RI on
Friday October 20, 2006. There was one other witness by the name of Kananga who also saw the object in flight.
It was dark at 6:30 pm and a storm had just left the area. The object was
described as being either egg-shaped or spherical in nature. It had a grey top
and its bottom was fire-white. When the eyewitnesses had initially spotted the
UFO, it was flying in a southerly direction. The unknown aerial object
passed an airliner that was heading north in the opposite direction. It was around that time that they determined that this UFO was smaller than an airliner.
The eyewitness stated that "I saw it like 2 minutes go south out of view then
about 5 minutes later I saw it coming from south back north I ran inside and
grabbed my camera and video taped it for about a minute and a half or 2 minutes" The unknown object didn't make any noise. It made its closest pass at an altitude of 1 mile and at a distance of 1 mile away.
It passed overhead and continued north until it disappeared from view. Vaughn reported that he had previous UFO experience when he was 8 or 9 years old and again at the age of 16. Anyone having additional information on this sighting is asked to please contact uforc.com -Investigator Montgomery
