(Courtney) on Monday, September 11, 2006 at 10:27:27ABSTRACT: I recently read the book The Phoenix Lights and this was pretty much EXACTLY as the author described her first sighting. The lights twinkled "like holiday luminaries". The object was very very large. Seconds after it disappeared a jet flew over the area it was hovering and in comparison I'm guessing the object was about a mile long. it was very high in the sky and hovered for a while before slowly moving to the west. My friend and I stared at it for about 30 seconds before it just disappeared. I've never seen anything like it in my life.
Details/Markings: The 4 huge amber orbs hovered perfectly still for a while, faded out and started slowly moving to the west...the orbs then melted into two orbs...started moving downward and then moved into one orb and then it just disappeared.
