One popular theory in the realm of UFO research is the hypothesis that UFOs are "heavenly vehicles," used by "messengers" or "angels" of God. I will now give both the Greek and the Hebrew words for angel, explain the use of the word, and its meaning.
ENGLISH: Angel GREEK: aggelos (pr. ang'-el-os)
ENGLISH: Angel; HEBREW: mal'ak (pr. mal-awk')
UFOs may not be vehicles in the conventional
sense of the word, but rather a "conveyance," or an end to a means. In other
words, the UFO may not be a vehicle at all, but rather a visual interpretation
of what could possibly represent a doorway, or portal into another dimension,
and the Holy Bible often describes heaven as a place, which co=exists right
along-side ours in this time and space continuum.
After over twenty-five years of intense research into this matter, I have been
left with the scientific theory that the UFO represents God's heavenly, angelic
servants active in our world today. Satan, formerly an angel, but cast down, or
fallen to the earth, is no longer called an angel. Satan, and his demons are no
longer afforded the luxury of roaming freely through time and space, or
"heaven." He is isolated to the earth, and cannot enter heaven, without an
assist from God's heavenly, or angelic realm.
There are numerous reasons that I believe that this is the correct Biblical
interpretation to the Greek and Hebrew texts, although there are still many
learned and educated Bible authorities that do not, for whatever reason, accept
this interpretation. And I will be the first to tell you, that this is based
upon theory and conjecture, and is not the only representation of the Biblical
texts that we will examine
It is unfortunate, that these distortions are perpetuated! They are passed down
from theologian to preacher, and taught to the flock, serving only to muddy the
proverbial waters of truth. These key passages are critical to how we interpret
the UFO phenomenon in relation to the HOLY BIBLE, and their misinterpretation
will throw everything into a different light. Although I would assume that this
is done out of ignorance for a complete understanding of the Greek and Hebrew
texts, the result could be a nefarious, misleading doctrine!
This book in the HOLY BIBLE contains a great mystery, a riddle wrapped in an enigma. It has drawn the attention of numerous scholars throughout the ages, who try to interpret the meaning of it for one very important reason: it describes the end of one world and the beginning of the next...a "New Age," also known as the "Millennial Kingdom." This will be a thousand year period of peace, where it is prophesied that Jesus Christ will reign as the Messiah, from the "New Jerusalem." All of this is described in the New Testament, especially in "Revelations" where the judgments and plagues are listed in great detail.
In popular eschatology, it has been preached that Satan, an angel of light, is still actively roaming about the heavens, free to traverse the void whenever and wherever he desires. If this holds true, then Satan would also utilize what we would perceive as a UFO conveyance. But does he? Many theologians teach that this serpent-man will be cast down to the Earth, sometime in the middle of the "Great Tribulation," a future period in time when great destruction will befall the earth and its inhabitants. This "fall" from heaven will enrage the devil, and cause him to seek and carry out certain destruction upon mankind. One of the reasons that they postulate that this is so, with great authority, is based loosely upon one chapter in the last book of the HOLY BIBLE; to wit~ Revelations Chapter 12.
(7)AND THERE WAS war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon. And the dragon and his angles waged war, (8)and they were not strong enough, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven. (9) And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him." ~THE HOLY BIBLE," Revelations" Chapter 12; verses 7-9 (Thompson C.R., NAS)
In the book THERE'S A NEW WORLD COMING, Hal Lindsey writes about events leading
up to the end of the world. Although his book contains numerous truths about the
HOLY BIBLE, it also contains some common, Biblical distortions,. including what
I believe to be a misinterpretation of Revelations chapter 12. These distorted
passages are crucial to a complete and full understanding of the UFO as angel
hypothesis. Hal Lindsey writes:
"Satan and his angels....are cast out from heaven to the earth, and from that point on he is never allowed to come before God again with accusations against God's children or for any other reason." - Montgomery
"Since this conflict takes place at the middle of the Tribulation, I hate to
think of the fury that Satan will unleash on the earth when he no longer has
access to the heavenlies where he and his cohorts have resided since their
original fall from heaven's good graces!" (Reference #1)
This passage is apparently what many claim is their justification for the
turbulent times of the Great Tribulation: "WOE to the earth and the sea, because
the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a
short time."
I speculate that what scriptures is trying to tell us, is that a decisive battle
was waged in heaven, and it was a real war...a battle that meant the use of
powerful weapons, and many casualties...but I would have to admit that this
happened a long time before Christ was born in the flesh... almost 2000 years
ago. My interpretation is that the HOLY BIBLE is telling us that this was
ancient history...as in past tense. This seems to be confirmed by the words of
Jesus Christ. This major victory over Satan and his followers, set the stage for
Christ's final victory at Calvary. Through Christ's birth, death and
resurrection, the devil's fate was sealed with this important victory. We were
bought with a price...the death of Christ, who was and is the perfect,
unblemished sacrifice, as atonement for our imperfection.
Later, in chapter 12 of Revelations, it says in verse 10~"And I heard a loud
voice in heaven saying, 'Now, the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of
our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of the
brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night."
Another name for the devil, is the "accuser." What is key here, is that IF
salvation were to come DURING the tribulation, it would not agree with sound
doctrine. "Now has come salvation..." According to the HOLY BIBLE, salvation was
won at Calgary, when Christ died on the cross. If the voice in heaven were
talking about salvation as present tense, it would have happened thousands of
years ago.
I have to say that from all available evidence, that Hal Lindsey, like so many
others, had made the mistake of accepting popular misinterpretations of the
Bible, based upon common biblical distortions. And with one distortion, comes
another and another...you must continue to distort to justify the last one and
so on and so forth...like telling a lie. When you tell a lie once, then you will
have to tell another lie to convince others that your lie was truth, and so on
down the line. This is a messy and tangled process of deception. Just like when
these so called biblical experts say that UFOs are the devil's tricks...how
would they explain the "pillar of fire" which led the Jews out of Egypt? They
couldn't be more wrong, and they are merely telling more lies to cover their
other lies. Another word for Satan is "The Father of Lies."
First, what IS the devil's trickery, is that he is alive and well, walking about
this planet assuming many guises. One possible disguise would be in the form of
a being like an alien in an extraterrestrial vehicle. Secondly, there have been
numerous reports of reptilian creatures. Some of these are featured here on the
website. These have never actually been seen entering nor leaving a UFO
conveyance, although many investigators place them at the UFO sighting. I
believe that the evidence has been misconstrued. The evidence linking the UFO to
the serpent-like entities is merely by association only. To the best of my
knowledge, there has NEVER been a direct link between the reptoid "alien" and
the unidentifiable flying object. If there was, it is my opinion that they are
being transported, not unlike prisoners, described in "The Book of Jude" in the
Old Testament of the HOLY BIBLE.
The cherub-like grays, as well as the angelic Nordic blondes have been seen
entering and exiting UFOs. So have the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary,
and I have done extensive research on these apparitions!
In "The Book of Luke," Chapter 9, verses 1~6, Jesus sent out his disciples, with
a mission. They had specific instructions on how to perform their mission.
Christ had commanded them to "proclaim the kingdom of God and to perform
healings." They were instructed not to bring more than the clothes on their
back! What is even more incredible, was that Christ "gave them power and
authority over all the demons, and to heal diseases." The disciples then set out
going from village to village, performing miracles and healing, doing exactly as
they were instructed.
Later in The Book of Luke, Chapter 10, the HOLY BIBLE says that "the seventy
returned with joy, saying 'Lord, even the demons are subject to us in YOUR
name.'"(verse 17) Then, Christ says something very important to our research.
Jesus says to his disciples "I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning." - THE HOLY BIBLE,
(Thompson's Chain Reference, NAS)
What I would like to point out here, is that once again Jesus Christ seems to
confirm that Satan has already fallen. Could Satan's fall be a part of the
tribulation process? The scriptures seem to dispute Lindsey's claims, and claims
by other theologians, that UFOs are the devil's trickery.
My point is this...If what the Bible says is true, then Satan is already enraged
at mankind. The reason is quite simple... we were made in the image and likeness
of God. It was God and 2/3 of the Angels that defeated him. It says in Genesis,
"Let us make man in OUR image," which I interpret to mean the triune God OR the
Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I assure you, that if what I have learned
from my careful analysis of the WORD of GOD is true, that Satan desires nothing
less than to torment each and every one of us for all eternity. We were all
given a choice to accept or reject God , just as we choose to do well or to do
evil. I say that the reason is simple, because we cannot know love if it is
forced upon us, for we can only know love if we choose to love that which first
loved us.
So, what of those who do not have a chance to know about the salvation of Jesus
Christ and his heavenly angels represented by the UFO phenomena? The Bible has
an answer for that. Creator God is a good and loving being, which rewards those
who do well, and punishes those who do evil. "Revelations" is very specific
about this matter, and it clarifies who will and who will not enter into the
pearly gates of heaven. This can be found in Revelations, 22, especially verse
12 of the HOLY BIBLE.
It is my personal belief that God would not
punish those who do good works and love their fellow man but do not yet know
Christ, as some would have you think. For we cannot know love if it is forced
upon us, we can only know love if we choose to love that which first loved us.
