One intriguing question open for further research and study is to what degree an aerial object perceived as being known will influence how that eyewitness will report motion characteristics. Haines said "perhaps the witness imputes to the aerial object motion characteristics which it does not actually display to him but which correspond to the type of object he believes he is experiencing."  - Haines Such may be the case with the alleged meteor that passed over Washington State on 19 February 2008.

Worthy of note is the eyewitness testimony of people that witnessed the event and how the opinions of what that UFO was continued to morph and change during the day as the Navy and observatories reported that it was a meteor.  If we extract the impressions suggested to the public by evocative influences, quite another explanation takes form. 

Prior to the metamorphosis of human interpretation, fraught by the impressions foisted upon them by academia, the actual nature of this object emerges.  The object did not behave predictably like the so-called "experts" suggested (a bolide) but rather like an amorphous ball of plasma energy called "earthlights."
