Brazilian UFO Magazine website reaches 1,000,000 visits and the historical record of 100 editions released in 20 years

Dear international UFO colleagues:

It is an honor to inform that the Brazilian UFO Magazine website reached ONE MILLION visits at 09h29 am, June 10th. It happened at the same time that the magazine had its edition ONE HUNDRED launched. See the web site at: www.ufo.com.br. We have been active since 1985.

These are world records, as none UFO periodical circulating in newsstands ever reached 100 editions before and very few ufology websites countered 1,000,000 hits. Besides, these sites were all in English and accessible to greater number of people. Brazilian UFO Magazine website is 99% in Portuguese, a language spoken by much less internet users. This fact makes the achievement even more significant. The magazine is the long-lasting newsstand UFO publication alive.

Meanwhile, Brazilian UFO researchers campaign Freedom of UFO Information , promoted since April by the Brazilian UFO Magazine, has already achieved 6,000 signatures. See details in English at: http://www.ufo.com.br/secrecy.php
