Much Starchild News
February 2007

Hi, Everyone.

There is much Starchild news since the last update in early
November. As many of you know, the National Geographic "Is It Real?"
episode on which we pinned so many hopes did not turn out well for
us, so we couldn't entice a major New York publishing house to take
it on. Despite that disappointment, it's not necessarily a bad thing.
It's easy to get lost in the shuffle in big houses, so I'm coming to
think we might be better off in the long run the other printing
arrangements we've made.

To that end, the book will definitely be brought out with an
official publication date of July 7th, the 60th anniversary of the
famous Roswell UFO crash. We should get a lot of ancillary publicity
from that, which is one reason 7/7/07 was chosen for the date the
book will be made available to general audiences. But there is
more....

During the month of March, a very special "Collector's Edition" will
be on sale for those people in the alternative knowledge community who
wish to purchase one. It won't be advertised or promoted to any other
group of any kind. This will be a topnotch hardback version with a
four-color dustjacket, 50 or 60 color plate illustrations inside, and
in every way will be a first-class hardcover book.

On the cover itself will be the words "Collector's Edition," and
each copy will be autographed and hand numbered by me to give it
extra value to collectors in the future. Then, assuming we get the
historic DNA result we expect from the new 454 Life Sciences
technique now being employed on the Neanderthal genome, each copy
will be valuable far beyond what it will cost to purchase it in
March. I don't think anything like this has ever been done before in
the field of alternative knowledge, so it's definitely something to
take advantage of if you can.

I will be officially announcing this advanced sale and kicking it
off at the upcoming UFO Congress in Lauglin in about 12 days. I'm
sure I'll see many of you there. And then I'll be discussing it on
Coast-to-Coast on March 5th, along with many other subjects of
interest. Especially important the night of C-2-C will be the
introduction for the first time ever of photos of the actual gel
sheets used to record the DNA testing of the Starchild and the adult
found with it. These will make it clear to anyone who sees them why
there is such a remarkably high probability that the Starchild will
prove to be not entirely human. This truly is "history in the
making."

Two personal notes: last Friday, a week ago, our web server suffered
a total hard drive crash, and we have been down until today. Both
websites are mangled and Amy has to put them back together over the
next few days. So please be patient with us if that should present a
problem for any of you. Also, we have moved from the danger of living
near the Gulf's edge in Inlet Beach, Florida, to higher ground in
Pensacola. We are a lot safer here in a hurricane, but the beach is
now 12 miles away, which I'm not happy about but which causes Amy no
end of regret.

Speaking of Amy, at her urging I'm trying very hard to be more
succinct in these updates to you all. I hope I'm getting everything
across. I'll do another of these in early March to formally announce
the Collector's Edition sale. I just wanted you all to have an early
heads-up that it's on its way and will definitely be worth taking
advantage of if you can manage it. Talk to you all again soon....
