OCTOBER 11, 2007 SEATTLE WASHINGTON: Major George Filer (ret.) head of MUFON Eastern announces that long time friend Jeff Challender "passed away last week due to a massive sudden heart attack." Filer said "Jeff was a cherished friend and God will bless him and his family in this time of sorrow.

Filer also had this to say, "I often spoke with Jeff and exchanged ideas. He revealed many NASA personnel had contacted him telling him of much higher quality close up space ship like anomalies that the public was not shown. Jeff's revelations from shuttle videos are remarkable and some can be seen at his web site. He often wondered if they were hiding experimental craft that will eventually replace the shuttle."

My own personal experiences go back to before the millennium. I remember Jeff and I would correspond back in the mid to late 1990's about the anomalies on Mars and in fact a lot of his work before project PROVE was published on our website hosted by AngelFire Carnegie Melon University.

"This is very sad news and quite a shock. Jeff's wife Janet called me this morning to say Jeff died at 7:30 pm last night (Thursday night) while they were lieing in bed watching TV. He had a massive heart attack followed by a massive stroke. Janet called 911 immediately and according to her they came extremely fast but couldn't save him."
