THE SPACESHIPS OF EZEKIEL by Josef. F. Blumrich
Interesting take on the "living creatures" idea. Have you read The Spaceships
of Ezekiel (1974), by Josef. F. Blumrich? It's incredibly interesting.
Blumrich was a NASA systems engineer when he wrote this book. When he read
through the Ezekiel account it, looking at the descriptions through the eyes
of a modern engineer involved in space travel conveyances, it dawned on him
that what Ezekiel was describing was very similar in many respects to
something that was already on the drawing boards at NASA. The book cover
shows the craft and there are more technical details and illustrations in the
book. His complete analysis of the Ezekiel account is most instructive in
many ways. He even goes into some of the reasons the conventional
explanations of the events surrounding the main "encounter" don't hold up. In
a painstaking analysis, he shows evidence that the verses of the book of
Ezekiel are all out of whack, so to speak, and he shows a more likely
arrangement of the various verses. Very interesting stuff. Also, according to
Blumrich, apparently the book of Ezekiel almost didn't make the cut for
inclusion in the Bible. It was only because of the persistence of a certain
Rabbi that the book was included. The Spaceships Of Ezekiel is out of print
now but copies can still be found. I can't recommend it highly enough to
anyone sincerely interested in considering all aspects and possibilities of
Ezekiel's encounter.
