Errata Space Shuttle Mission STS-116 Orbiter: Discovery Mission: Space Station Assembly Building 12A.1 Payload: P5 Integrated Truss Segment Launch Date: Dec. 9, 2006 Launch Time: 8:47 p.m. EST Launch Pad: 39B Landing Date: Dec. 21, 2006 Landing Time: 4:17 p.m. EST Mission Duration: 12 daysUPDATE 12-7-2006; NASA had to scrub the launch scheduled for Thursday 12-7-06 due to poor visibility on the cloud deck.
UPDATE 12-11-2006; The NASA launch which occurred on Saturday was nearly picture perfect. The launch went off without a hitch around 8:45 pm Eastern Time. There wasn't any sign of alien activity during that time.
